Life sometimes takes you places you don’t expect.  The past year has done just that, and I had to put some of my writing on hold, but I plan to get rolling again here on my blog.

Some new things that have happened.   1…We’ve done a major overhaul of the rabiki.com website.  What used to be just a fantasy world building project has grown.  I’ve added a fantasy side to the site; the Fargoth World Building Project has moved to rabiki.com 2…We also added a gaming forum to rabiki.com.  All three forums have the same look and feel to them.

rabiki.com/prime –  Sci-fi World building (where the ideas are hashed out).

rabiki.com/archives –  Official sci-fi world content.

rabiki.com/fargoth –  Fantasy World Building (where the ideas are hashed out).

rabiki.com/pedia –  Official fantasy world content.

rabiki.com/cu –  The gaming forum.

Here’s just a bit of geek trivia for you.  2010 and 2011 are binary years, meaning they have dates that can be expressed as a binary number. 2010 contains the 9 specific binary dates shown below.  Replace the year with 2011, and you get nine more.

And if you want to get even a bit more geeky, the date 10/10/10 is specifically interesting. It is the binary number (101010) for 42, which we all know is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.  Now there’s a little Deep Thought for you…;-)

After 2011, we won’t see another set of binary dates until 2100.

A friend of mine…ya you Ron…gave me a bit of inspiration for this post.  I decided to do an image search on the word squirrel to see what would show up.  Man…I didn’t realize they were so popular.  None of the images in this gallery were created by me.  Someone else with a high quality image editor or a well trained squirrel put them together, and I don’t remember where they come from.  Just search, and I’m sure you’ll find them.
