I’ve been a huge science fiction fan for a long time…my first exposure to this genre was seeing Star Wars on the big screen when I was about 7 years old, but since that time I’ve looked far and wide for anything sci-fi. I started reading sci-fi about 5 years ago because I had seen most the movies that were out, and that was the only way to scratch the itch. About a year ago, I started to put together ideas for a series of novels….and the idea for RabiKi was born. I’m currently working on the back story for these novels…..
RabiKi – the tale of a people, their quest to escape a doomed planet and fight to regain freedom.
Three books, one gigantic science fiction story by TA Lucas.
Work has begun, but there is much to do…look for the first book in late 2010 or early 2011.

7/19/2010 - Things have been slow, but are much better now. On track to get writing again….just need to set some goals.
12/17/2009 - I’ve not made a lot of progress these last few months…2,800 words. Our family has been hit hard with illness, and the near future looks really busy, so I don’t think I’ll get much accomplished till the early part of next year. At any rate….I’m still plugging away.
9/22/2009 - I’ve finished my first two chapters, and I’m starting on the third. So far…..2500 words complete.
8/19/2009 - Chapter one is about 75% complete. Writing has been a bit slow with all of the activity, but I’m still plugging away.
7/15/2009 - I’ve finished an entire chapter…although it wasn’t chapter one. I started writing in chapter three, and now I’m gonna go back and write chapter one and two. Chapter three has about 1500 words…kinda small, but I’m not all too worried about words per chapter. I did the math the other day, and if Ican write 200 words a day, I’ll be done in a year. Doesn’t seem like a lot, but need to be persistant at it.
6/5/2009 - Well…..I’ve officially started the actual writing of the first book. There’s still a ways to go, but it’s a big step. Much of the work till now has been world-building, and developing the backstory, but it feels good to have something on paper.
